4 Cute & Comfy Outfits to Wear During/After Quarantine

If you’ve been on social media within the last few weeks, I’m sure while scrolling on IG or FB, you’ve seen posts of people getting dressed up to go to their living rooms or front yards during this quarantine. Well, if I’m being honest, I haven’t been one of those people. I’ve been all about comfortability these past few weeks and have really enjoyed not feeling pressured to dress up at all during this time.

Many of you know I work from home, so even before this quarantine, I never had a reason to get dressed during the week. I spend most days in pajamas or comfy clothes. I like to save getting dressed for the weekends (and maybe the occasional Tuesday when I would hit up Happy Hour pre-quarantine). I know that may sound odd me being a fashion blogger and all, but I actually enjoy being comfortable most of the time. Plus, who ever said you can’t be comfortable and cute at the same time? That brings me to my next point:

Today is an exciting day because I’m collaborating with health, entertainment, and lifestyle blogger Jasmen Dickerson, who I introduced in my last post, to show you guys how you can be comfortable and cute all at the same time. We’re sharing 4 of our best cute and comfy outfits to wear now and later.

Without further ado, lets jump right in!

Since Jasmen is our guest today, it’s only right that we start with her outfits first:

This outfit is probably my favorite out of the 4 we’re sharing today. Jasmen’s wearing a red crop top with black biker shorts; these particular biker shorts have a sheen to them, which I think adds a cute touch. She paired the outfit with sunglasses and black and white sandals.

Biker shorts are so trendy right now. I’ve been wanting to purchase a pair and finally think I will! I’ve seen them styled so many different ways. They seem very versatile and like a great staple piece to add to your wardrobe this summer.  I love that she chose to wear sunglasses with this outfit; they really complete the overall look in my opinion.

This is a great outfit to wear right now while in quarantine, but it’s also perfect for running errands or going on a chill lunch or movie date once the world opens back up.

Next we have a cute activewear look:

Jasmen’s wearing a sports bra and leggings. I thought they came together in a set, but they didn’t. They just happen to go really well together. She paired the outfit with a gray zip-up hoodie and faux fur purple slides.

What I love about this outfit is that it’s transitional for different parts of the day. For example, if you’re someone who likes to workout in the mornings, you would of course wear your workout shoes like normal and then maybe later decide to change into a pair of slides to be more comfortable. Later on that evening/night, you may decide to change into a pair of slippers. Also, if it’s warm right now where you live, you wouldn’t necessarily need to wear a hoodie unless you just want to.

Before we move on to my outfits, can we just take a moment to praise Jasmen for these looks! I mean, she really came with it 🙌🏽

Now…on to my outfits:

If you follow me on IG or FB, you may have seen me post this picture recently. I can’t help but share this outfit here as well because that’s how much I love it.

First, let me just say that every time I wear these pants, I get so many compliments. I call them my comfy pants, but what I love most about them is how flattering they are. I decided to pair them with a crop top so that they really stand out, and you’re able to get a complete look at them. The crop top also makes the outfit a lot cuter than a regular t-shirt or tank top would in my opinion.

I’m glad I chose to wear this hat; I have a couple others that would’ve went with this outfit, but the camo definitely makes it stand out more. The olive tones are giving me life. Btw- olive green is one of my favorite colors to wear. It compliments my skin tone really well.

Something I noticed after wearing this outfit is how much I love the way hats look with big hoop earrings. Anytime I decide to wear a hat, I feel like I need to wear big hoops; it’s just something about the two together that I really love.

Lastly, this outfit is also great for running errands or a chill lunch or movie date post quarantine.

My next look is also one that you may have seen me share already:

I wore this outfit last summer and really loved it. Not only was the jumpsuit comfy, it was also super easy to style. I appreciate quick and easy pieces that don’t require too much effort. I especially appreciate one-piece outfits because I’m left only having to figure out what accessories and shoes to wear with it.

I decided slides and a fanny pack would make the most sense for this comfy look. I was never really into fanny packs before I wore this outfit. I got to see just how convenient and easy they are compared to carrying a purse, although I love a good purse.

Just like the others, this outfit is great for running errands or a chill lunch or movie date. I actually wore it out to eat with my family. One thing I didn’t have to worry about with this outfit is feeling uncomfortable after a big meal.

I hope you all enjoyed this collab. Sorry we weren’t able to link everything. We couldn’t find a lot of the pieces online; however, I’m sure you can find similar options to recreate these looks if you’re interested.

Leave us comments letting us know what you think. Also, if you have any blog post ideas that we should collab on in the future, be sure to comment those as well. We appreciate all the feedback and support.
