I normally don’t wear pants like these, but as I somewhat mentioned in my last blog post, lately I’ve been into trying new things and stepping outside of my comfort zone when it comes to my wardrobe.
I can’t take all the credit for these pants, though. My boyfriend’s mom is the one who bought them for me. I’m so glad she did because I probably would’ve never bought them for myself.
The reason I would stay away from pants like these in the past is because they tend to have a more loose fit, and with me being petite, I’ve always liked my pants and jeans to have a more tight fit. These, however, fit really nicely and are very flattering- even in the butt area. Lol.
I LOVE the belt on these; it’s removable btw. I decided to tie mine into a bow. It added a cute touch. I also really love that the pant legs are cuffed at the bottom (they came that way). I’ve been into that lately.
I went with a simple top and simple pair of heels because I really wanted the pants to be the star of the show.
The crossbody bag was a perfect choice. I love olive green and burnt orange (or whatever the exact color of this bag is) together. The two colors compliment each other so well.
Trust me when I say that it sometimes pays you to step outside of your comfort zone. You could really end up loving something a lot more than you thought you would.
I hope you guys enjoyed this look. Comment your thoughts below, and also let me know if you’ll be stepping outside of your comfort zone this year.
